The National Anthem of India written By The Great Rabindranath Tagore. It was adopted as our National Anthem on 24th  January 1950. The meaning of the song is

“Thou art the ruler of the minds of all people,
Dispenser of India’s destiny.
Thy name rouses the hearts of the Punjab,
Sindh, Gujarat, and Maratha,
Of the Dravid, and Orissa and Bengal.
It echoes in the hills of Vindhyas and,
Himalayas, mingles in the music of the
Jamuna and the Ganges and is chanted by
the waves of the Indian sea.
The pray for the blessings,
and sing by the praise,
The saving of all people
waits in thy hand.
Thou dispenser of India’s destiny,
Victory, victory, victory to thee.”

Independence Day is celebrated in India on  15th August of every year.  Word itself means that our Country INDIA became an  independent nation and free from the British rule on  15th August 1947.Whole country celebrates this day by hoisting our tricolor flag (saffron color which signifies sacrifice, white color which signifies peace and purity , green color signifies prosperity and in center of the flag is navy blue color Ashoka Chakra with twenty equaled drawn strokes ). Our great Warriors fought for our nation’s  freedom and laid down their lives .  Mahatma Gandhi, His wife Kasturba Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose, Aurobindu Ghosh, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Rajguru, Lala Lajpat Rai, Sukhdev, Sarojini Naidu, Kanaklata Barua, Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit,Padmaja Naidu, Rani Laxmibai , Vallabhbhai Patel,Tatya Tope, Shivaji Bhosale , Dadabhai Nawroji, Sangu Ganesan and many more great people fought against Britishers fearlessly and sacrificed their lives in achieving  peace and freedom  for our country.  They had been through immense torture by Britishers but they never gave up. I salute each and every freedom fighters for their bravery tiny-smileys-yesemoticons-024.

During my school day , our principal hoisted our national flag and we all sung in chorus our National Anthem song♫♫.  Different channels on TV telecast programmes in honor of freedom. News channels showcases flag hoisting by India Prime Minister held at Red Fort Delhi every year followed by speech. Music Channels floods with various patriotic songs  whereas  Movie channels are lined up with various films based on journey of real life heroes who fought for our country. Every Cinema hall plays National Anthem song before showing a  movie. All people stands up to respect, when our national anthem is played.  Even today, Our Indian Army (Jawans) make sure our nation’s security from external threats . Their main motto is to safeguard our country from our enemy and maintaining peace and security within its borders. Not only this great Jawans are brave , but even their families who allow their son to enter  in such field where they are not sure when is the next time they will see them again. I salute every Indian army jawan and their families  for their bravery. Because of them we are living peacefully and enjoying our life safely.  Recently our five brave soldiers were brutally killed. Our Politicians always stepped ahead for friendship with neighboring country but what we got back !! Ruthless murder of our Jawans tiny-smileys-yesemoticons-026Even there are other points which makes me question every day to myself that when will India be free from internal threats like corruption, human trafficking, rape or many more problems tiny-smileys-yesemoticons-004These are questions /debates which are unanswered still today tiny-smileys-yesemoticons-062.

Anyways I will   end my note  On this auspicious day, by paying  homage to every freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives , our Indian army who today also protects us from external threats and some who sacrificed their lives for our country. I am proud to be an INDIAN. Feeling proud to be born on the land of  great motherland whose sons and daughters freed our country from our enemies. VANDE MATARAM,  JAI HIND.Image

My Favourite Song which I dedicate to my Country INDIA

Bhaarat Humko Jaan Se Pyaaraa Hai
Sabase Nyaaraa Gulistaan Hamaaraa Hai
Bhaarat Humko Jaan Se Pyaaraa Hai
Sabase Nyaaraa Gulistaan Hamaaraa Hai
Sadiyon Se Bhaarat Bhuumi Duniyaa Ki Shaan Hai
Bhaarat Maan Ki Rakshaa Mein Jeevan Qurbaan Hai
Bhaarat Hamako Jaan Se Pyaara Hai
Sabase Nyaaraa Gulistaan Hamaaraa Hai

Ujade Nahin Apanaa Chaman
Tute Nahn Apanaa Watan
Gumraah Na Karde Koi
Barabaad Naa Karade Koi
Mandir Yahaan, Masjid Yahaan
Hindu Yahaan Muslim Yahaan
Milate Rahe Ham Pyaar Se
Hindustaani Naam Hamaaraa Hai
Sabase Pyaaraa Desh Hamaaraa Hai
Hindustaani  Naam Hamaaraa Hai
Sabase Pyaaraa Desh Hamaaraa Hai
Janmabhuumi Hai Hamaari Shaan Se Kahenge Hum
Sabh To Bhaai Bhaai Pyaar Se Rahenge Ham
Hindustaani Naam Hamaaraa Hai
Sabase Pyaaraa Desh Hamaaraa Hai
Aasaam Se Gujaraat Tak
Bengaal Se Maharashhtra Tak
Jaati Kai Dhun Ek Hai Bhasha Kai Sure K Hai
Kashmir Se Madraas Tak
Keh Do Sabhi Ham Ek Hain
Aawaaz Do Ham Ek Hain

(A song sung by Singer Hariharan and Music given by  A R Rahman in movie ROJA (1992))
