Let me put some  light on  his journey through some important paths of his life. When Lord Krishna was born, Lord Vishnu summoned Krishna’s  father Vasudeva to take his child  to a safe place called  Gokul to Lady Yashoda and his spouse Nanda to protect Lord Krishna from evil eyes. Lord Krishna was born to fight against evil. He was the eighth form of Lord Vishnu who was born to protect people’s interest. Vasudeva  and his wife Devaki were imprisoned by Krishna’s  evil  Kanas Mama (Uncle).  When everybody were asleep in late night, Vasudeva with help of Lord Vishnu crossed river carrying his new-born child in small basket over his head. He kept his son near Yashoda and took their daughter with him. When Krishna’s uncle Kanas saw Vasudeva baby(who was replaced by a girl who was a daughter of Yashoda and Nanda)  he took her from them and tried to kill her but she rose in form of Yogmaya who was the helper of Lord Vishnu and disappeared warning Kanas about his death.

Krishna grew up in Gokulnagari with his brother Balram. He was known as mischievious and notorious child as he was popular for stealing Makhan(butter). Makhan was his favorite ,which he loved to eattiny-smileys-yesemoticons-012 .His uncle Kanas tried to kill him many times once he was aware about his whereabouts. But he always failed as Krishna killed all the demons send by his uncle who appeared in various forms in front of himtiny-smileys-yesemoticons-030 .Krishna had married to 16108 women from which only eight were his real wives and remaining were abducted by Naraksuras. He had forcefully kept all those women with him . Krishna rescued every women from this evil and married to them because this women were not accepted by their own families and no one were ready to marry them . But Krishna never kept any relations with them as wives. They were safely brought to his palace after marriage where they led their remaining life in peacetiny-smileys-yesemoticons-032 . This women use to dance around Krishna and sing-song for him and Krishna(in middle of them) use to play flutetiny-smileys-yesemoticons-023 .Later, time fled and Krishna returned to his born place Mathura and with the help of  his brother Balram he killed his Uncle Kanas. He was then called as Lord Krishna and every people worshiped him with respect tiny-smileys-yesemoticons-067

In INDIA , in the name of Lord Krishna , Janamashtami is celebrated where the drama(Raas Lila) is played depicting his journey from his birth to his tactful ways of killing evils . Also  Dahi Handi is performed where a pot which is full of buttermilk is tied on at particular height and a group of boys (today girls too take part in ittiny-smileys-yesemoticons-067 )form a pyramid and break the pot with the help of coconut placed on the pot . Buttermilk flows down on all the boys who form pyramid showing victory of their unity and togethernesstiny-smileys-yesemoticons-010 .When I was  in school, I loved watching this Dahi Handi celebration a lottiny-smileys-yesemoticons-032.

Lord Krishna has 108 names few of them are Achala(Still Lord),Balgopal(Child Krishna),Devadidev(Lords of the Lord), Govinda(One who pleases his land ),Yoginampati(The lord of All Yogis)and many more.

Today on his birthday , I wish everyone” Happy Janamashtami”,
