Last weekend had been super exhausting but it was super duper fabulous too! Saturday i.e. 18th January 2014,I had been to one of India’s largest amusement park “Esselworld” situated on an island in Gorai creek, Mumbai city. Now…although I have been to this park infinite times since my school days but still today ,it excites me every time I visit there.
I was accompanied by few of my close buddies and we all took a ferry from Gorai Jetty to reach the amusement park. We all were very excited and in joyous mood. As soon as we alighted the ferry, we stormed to the park entrance , we rushed to buy our tickets. We were so excited that as soon as our checking was done at security counter, we started discussing as to which ride we should visit first. We started with zyclone, a simple and small ride. Later we sat in other rides like shot and drop, enterprise, thunder and many more. It’s my acrophobia which forced me to avoid few rides . Though I have sat in almost all rides once but few I never think of repeating too .
Zyclone: The name should suggest something Dramatic and Thrilling, but it was OK, a Mini version of a rollercoaster, it’s an old ride and I have been through zyclone many times since my school days.
Shot and Drop: God help me were the words revolving inside my head, it is one of the new attractions introduced by the Esselworld, It’s basically a Tower ride, its 190 ft long, It Shots to the top and then comes down and again goes up and comes down like bungee effects. It literally scared the hell out of me…
Enterprise: Again not my thing to do, This Ride basically is like a giant wheel but initially its flat on the surface and people sit inside a space shuttle kind of car and then when the wheel starts to rotate, the beam holding the wheel slightly starts to go vertical until its 90 degree. Then the Gravity takes care of everything, you get what I say
Sr Dodgem: My favorite and everyone’s favorite from kids to elders, It’s fun to Bump your friends and others in this ride, its so much fun that we went thrice 😛 and without any police around you can drive without your license
Aero Swinger : It’s Like a Carousel but again it spun so fast that we were feeling the gravitational force .
Monster’s Mist: it’s like a Haunted House ride, We sit in a car and pay visits to various monsters and gory skeletons and dead bodies and monsters protruding from walls, we even had a big snake, Spider Crawling above us..it was fun basically not at all scary
7D theatre: It was like a Normal theatre but the Seat Moves and Air is Blown in your face Legs to make you feel as if you are inside the movie, It has some animations and you can see the movie in 3D, we saw 2 movies one is of dinosaurs and other a horror, each of 15 mins, the dinosaur one is like takes you back to dinosaurs era, the effects are like imagine you sitting on a dinosaur and riding it, the horror one has some kind of black magic thingy, and some spirits blow air in your face 😀 and Spiders crawl, when the spider crawls , air is blown at your feet to simulate the crawling of spiders
Last but not the Least, My only purpose to visit Esselworld again and again,
At the end of the day we were so damn tired but so darn happy which I just cannot express. Our body was aching and we dreamt of being in ride in nights too 😛 and were swinging and moving our legs in that motion. I just love this park and will be always ready to go there anytime. We have already decided to visit adjoining water park “Water Kingdom” soon this summer. Hope to rock there soon 🙂
